About
So what is the purpose of this upcoming site? It’s quite simple – I felt it was worth $20 to dissuade people from joining DigitalPoint and losing their investment in time in what is now a corrupt and worthless endeavor. My frustrating story seems no different than countless others who had problems with their account or with other corrupt members who seem to have free will to do whatever they want, even clearly violating the law. Administrators and moderators with their own agendas have fun ignoring you and/or banning your account when you try to make reasonable requests for assistance. It was worth $20 to me to get my dig back at digitalpoint and let people know why an investment in time there is a bad idea. It’s what you’d expect when the immature are running the chicken coop.
We’ll provide numerous other alternatives such as the Warrior Marketing Forum (no affiliation) and others which are more useful and contain more bona-fide members and moderators.
THE STORY: What happened? I had an account with many posts, having been a long time member. One day I had a disagreement with another member whom I discovered regularly posts illegal services for sale. It was clear that DigitalPoint’s staff didn’t care to do anything about it. After the issue of the entire membership list at DigitalPoint supposedly being stolen and posted on the Internet, safety at DigitalPoint became a concern for me. I decided to clear my personally identifiable information both outside and on the inside.
When I tried to change my email address, I accidentally typed in the new address incorrectly. I realized this only after confirming it at my old address. Unfortunately I needed someone at digitalpoint to make a simple edit. Ever try to get help from a moderator or anyone there?
I made about 30 attemtps sending to report the problem but it was completely ignored. I could login but I couldn’t private message anyone to alert them as to the problem. I created a second account to do so. The message I posted was left unread and the account was banned as a duplicate account. So I created another identity and used that one. After not being able to post in the classifieds areas, I asked about why the account was limited. That resulted in a moderator looking up this account and banning it too!
So a friend contacted them and gave them my account name, which wasn’t banned at the time. The "official reply" I received- I knew why I was banned and it couldn’t be disclosed but it was for "good reason." After that I found my account was banned instead of just not being functional. The friend had his account banned a few weeks later for being a duplicate account (how they came to this conclusion, I don’t know.)
There you go. It’s another typical story. But for $20, I can direct traffic away from Digitalpoint, the arrogant moderators and the deep corruption that exists. Silly, yes but at least it bought satisfaction for less than the price of a movie for two.
