If you share an IP address with others, be aware that DigitalPoint seems to be banning accounts based upon matches made by access. This may be happening automatically or via a random manual sweep done by moderators. Regardless of why, it is happening and apparently not triggered by posting.
The joke here is that if DigitalPoint wasn’t so happy on the trigger finger banning everyone the moment they believe an unholy infraction occurs, they’d probably not have nearly the level of fake accounts created as they are experiencing. From experience I can tell you that there is no practical way to contact anyone at DP without creating a second account and pinging a thread or someone using email. There is no contact form that I have found which is of any use or that moderators will take seriously.
The DigitalPoint ship continues to sink into depths of mediocrity. Don’t say you weren’t forewarned if you stupidly invest time there thinking you can’t find it elsewhere, only to find your account has problems that will not be fixed!
